<h1>Events in Cadence Calendar</h1>Events are time blocks that aren’t tied to specific students or lesson billing. Use them for studio closures, admin time, rehearsals, recitals, or any non-lesson work you still want on your schedule. Unlike lessons, events don’t track attendance or create lesson transactions—but they can track income you earn that’s outside of lessons (e.g., a wedding gig, accompanist fee, workshop honorarium).<h1>Track Non-Lesson Income (per time slot)</h1>Events can include one or more time slots, each with its own date, start/end time, and amount. This lets you:<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Log a single paid engagement, or</li><li>Add multiple dates for a project and enter an amount per date</li><li>Optionally mark each event as Paid when you’ve received the money</li></ul><blockquote>Example: A three-day workshop—add three event dates, each with its own start/end and fee.</blockquote>
