Yes. Once you connect Gmail with send permission (Settings > Email), you can compose and send a custom email straight from Cadence Calendar to students, accounts, or any address you choose. Recipients are sent one at a time, so each person only sees their own message.
Settings > Email now has a Custom Templates section, separate from the built-in System Templates that power invoice and payment emails.
Click New Template to create a reusable subject and body for the Send Message dialog.
Click any template in the list to edit its name, subject, or body.
Templates you create are tagged Custom. The built-in templates are tagged Default and cannot be deleted.
Subjects and bodies can include merge variables such as the student's name, the account's name, and your name. When you send the message, Cadence Calendar matches each recipient's email address to a student or account and swaps in their details automatically. If a recipient doesn't match a student or account on file, only your name is filled in and the rest of the variables are left blank.
Note: Messages sent this way, along with lesson reminders and invoice notifications, are logged in your Message History tab for tracking.
