Revenue Summary
The Revenue Summary report shows the income Cadence Calendar has recorded for your business. It is useful when you want a clear view of what has come in during a selected month or year.
Who this is for
This report is for teachers and organization admins who want to review income, payment activity, and revenue trends over time.
What data it generates
The Revenue Summary report combines:
- payment transactions recorded in Cadence Calendar
- paid events that have an amount attached
- monthly totals when you choose a month-by-month view
- a year-to-date running total
- a detail table of payments and paid events
- a breakdown by account and by third-party payer or billing entity when those records exist
How to use it
From the Business Reports area, open Revenue Details and choose how you want to view the report.
You can:
- view the full year
- view a specific month
- open the PDF in a new tab

What the report means
The report is based on recorded revenue activity, not invoice totals.
That means:
- it includes payment transactions that were recorded in the selected period
- it includes paid event income when an event has an amount and is marked paid
- it does not use unpaid invoices as revenue
- it follows the transaction or event date inside the selected period
What you will see in the report
The report includes a monthly summary with:
- revenue total
- number of entries
- year-to-date revenue
It also includes detailed tables that show:
- the date of each record
- the account name or entity name
- the description
- the amount
Best practice
Use the Revenue Summary when you want to answer questions like:
- How much did I bring in this month?
- Which accounts or entities produced the most revenue?
- What income has been recorded so far this year?
If you need a tax-focused view, use the Tax Summary or Tax Filing Preparation report instead.
