Families gain access through their account email and a secure code generated by Cadence Calendar. Once logged in, they will only see information connected to their family’s account and students. If portal access is disabled, families will be redirected back to the homepage
At the top of the portal, families can view:
Teacher Name & Email
Profile Photo (if enabled in settings)
A button to Contact the Teacher directly through a simple form.
The Account section lists family contact information:
Primary Contact (the main billing/communication person)
Secondary Contact (if provided)
If enabled by the teacher, families can also edit contact details directly from the portal.
Each student under the account appears with:
Name and contact info (email and phone)
Default billing details (per-lesson or fixed rate, if enabled by the teacher)
Teachers may also allow families to update student details directly from the portal.
The Schedule tab shows:
Next Lesson: date, time, and location in the teacher’s timezone.
A Cancel Lesson button (if allowed by the teacher and within the cancellation policy window).
Past Lessons, with a searchable, filterable lesson history.
This helps families clearly see what’s coming up and review attendance.
If enabled, families can view lesson notes added by the teacher.
Notes are organized per student.
Each note shows a created date and can be expanded to read the full text.
A “See More” button loads additional notes if there are many.
The portal displays both unpaid and paid invoices, depending on teacher preferences:
Unpaid Invoices: Families can review details, including due dates, amounts, and online payment options (if enabled).
Paid Invoices: A full history of invoices already settled.
If enabled, families can view a complete transaction history (charges, payments, and adjustments).
Families can sign out securely at any time. The portal will also automatically redirect if login credentials are invalid.
The Account Portal is designed to give families transparency into schedules, billing, and notes—while giving teachers full control over what’s visible.
