The account balance is the sum of all charges and payments connected to an account. It updates automatically as attendance is recorded and transactions are added.
Charges come from scheduled lessons (when marked billable) or events.
Payments reduce the amount owed.
If a lesson is scheduled for a future date, the charge is not included in today’s balance until it occurs.
On the Accounts page, you can see a snapshot of how much is owed across all accounts as of today.
On an individual account page, you can adjust the date filter to preview what the account would owe at a future point in time.
Example: A family has a lesson next week. As of today, it won’t show as owed yet, but if you change the date filter to next week, that charge will be included.
