The account balance is the sum of all charges and payments connected to an account. It updates automatically as attendance is recorded and transactions are added.<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Charges come from scheduled lessons (when marked billable) or events.</li><li>Payments reduce the amount owed.</li><li>If a lesson is scheduled for a future date, the charge is not included in today’s balance until it occurs.</li></ul>On the Accounts page, you can see a snapshot of how much is owed across all accounts as of today.On an individual account page, you can adjust the date filter to preview what the account would owe at a future point in time.<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Example: A family has a lesson next week. As of today, it won’t show as owed yet, but if you change the date filter to next week, that charge will be included.</li></ul>
