The sign-up form in Cadence Calendar allows new families or students to register directly through your account portal. Once submitted, the information is automatically linked back to your Cadence Calendar account—creating new students and their associated account record for you to review and manage. This saves you the time of entering contact and student details manually.
Each teacher has a unique sign-up form link, which can be shared with parents, students, or added to your website.
Families can enter primary and secondary contact information, along with one or more student records.
Required fields (such as names, emails, or phone numbers) are customizable by you. For example, you may require that every student provides an email address, or that parents provide a phone number.
After submission, the new account and students will appear in your Cadence Calendar under Accounts and Students.
Submissions are automatically associated with your teacher profile in Cadence Calendar.
Each student entry becomes a student record, and the family is grouped under an account, which represents the billing and contact entity.
If you’ve set a default status (e.g., Active or Waiting), the student is created with that status right away.
You control how the form behaves in Account Portal Settings:
Enable or Disable the Form – You decide whether the sign-up form is publicly available.
Additional Required Fields – Customize which fields families must complete (e.g., student phone number, secondary contact details).
Default Student Status – Choose whether new sign-ups are automatically Active or placed on a Waiting list.
Custom Messages – Add a message at the top of the form (e.g., instructions, studio policy notes) and customize the success message shown after submission.
Teacher Info – If enabled, your name, email, and photo appear at the top of the form along with a “Contact Teacher” button.
Families see your customized success message, confirming their sign-up.
The new account and students appear in your Cadence Calendar immediately.
You can then assign lessons, track billing, and communicate with them just like any other student.
Tip: Share your sign-up form link in welcome emails, on your studio website, or in social media posts to make onboarding new students seamless.
