Add a new lesson

Steps

1. Attendees. Choose one or more students.

   • The first selected student’s default lesson length, and price if per-lesson billing, will prefill.

2. Date & Time. Pick the lesson date, start time, and end time.

3. Frequency. Leave as Does not repeat unless you want a repeating lesson.

4. Student Pricing

   • Student Default: Uses each student’s billing type.

     • Per-lesson: a transaction is created at their default price.

     • Fixed-rate: no transaction is created for the lesson.

   • Specify a Lesson Price: Overrides defaults and applies your price per student for this lesson.

5. Optional fields

   • Description: Add context or instructions.

   • Conference Link: Choose how people will join online.

     • Google Meet: If two-way Google Calendar sync is enabled, Cadence generates a Meet link and attaches it to the lesson.

     • Custom link: Paste a URL and pick a type, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

6. Save. The lesson appears on your calendar, and in Google Calendar if sync is enabled.

Repeating Lessons

Create a series while adding a lesson

1. In Frequency, choose Weekly or Monthly.

2. Set Date Until to define the series end date, up to one year from the start date.

3. Save to create all occurrences.

Editing a series later

• When editing a lesson that is part of a series, you will be asked to update just this lesson or this and future lessons.

Note: Series creation is only available when adding, not when editing a single occurrence created previously without a series.
