<h1>Opening an Event</h1>Clicking on a lesson or event in the calendar opens a popover view with details such as:<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Event name and time range.</li><li>Associated group color (if set).</li><li>Student attendees, with avatars and names.</li><li>Attendance statuses for each student.</li><li>Payment information (for lessons).</li><li>Meeting links or Google Calendar links (if available).</li></ul><hr><h1>Attendance Tracking</h1>Within the event details, you can:<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Update attendance for each student using the attendance dropdown.</li><li>See quick icons on the calendar view for all present ✔️, all absent ✖️, or all cancelled.</li></ul><hr><h1>Editing and Messaging</h1>From the event popover, you can:<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Edit the lesson or event by clicking the pencil icon.</li><li>Send emails to all attendees using the email picker tool if there are emails saved on the primary contact, secondary contact, or student.</li></ul><hr><h1>Deleting Events</h1>Depending on the type of event:<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Single Lesson or Event: Use the trash icon to delete.</li><li>Lesson Series: Choose whether to delete just one lesson or the rest of the series moving forward.</li></ul><hr><h1>External Links</h1><ul class="accent-bullets"><li>If the event is synced to Google Calendar, you’ll see an external link icon to view it there.</li><li>If a conference link is attached (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet), you can click to join directly.</li></ul><hr><h1>Clicking a Day</h1>When you click on a specific day in the calendar, a popover will appear with actions tailored to that date:<ul class="accent-bullets"><li>Quick Overview – See how many lessons are scheduled for that day, with a breakdown of students included.</li><li>Delete Lessons – Quickly remove all lessons for that day.</li><li>Email Students – Send emails to all students scheduled on that day with one click.</li><li>Add Items – Add a new Lesson or Event directly to that date.</li><li>Attendance Management – Jump straight into attendance for all lessons on that day.</li><li>View Day – Switch into Day View to see a detailed timeline of lessons and events for that date.</li></ul>This makes managing lessons on a daily level quick and efficient.<blockquote>Tip: You can drag and drop calendar events to different days to quickly reschedule without opening the editor.</blockquote>
