Clicking on a lesson or event in the calendar opens a popover view with details such as:
Event name and time range.
Associated group color (if set).
Student attendees, with avatars and names.
Attendance statuses for each student.
Payment information (for lessons).
Meeting links or Google Calendar links (if available).
Within the event details, you can:
Update attendance for each student using the attendance dropdown.
See quick icons on the calendar view for all present ✔️, all absent ✖️, or all cancelled.
From the event popover, you can:
Edit the lesson or event by clicking the pencil icon.
Send emails to all attendees using the email picker tool if there are emails saved on the primary contact, secondary contact, or student.
Depending on the type of event:
Single Lesson or Event: Use the trash icon to delete.
Lesson Series: Choose whether to delete just one lesson or the rest of the series moving forward.
If the event is synced to Google Calendar, you'll see an external link icon to view it there.
If a conference link is attached (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet), you can click to join directly.
When you click on a specific day in the calendar, a popover will appear with actions tailored to that date:
Quick Overview - See how many lessons are scheduled for that day, with a breakdown of students included.
Delete Lessons - Quickly remove all lessons for that day.
Email Students - Open the email composer for everyone scheduled on that day.
Add Items - Add a new Lesson or Event directly to that date.
Attendance Management - Jump straight into attendance for all lessons on that day.
View Day - Switch into Day View to see a detailed timeline of lessons and events for that date.
This makes managing lessons on a daily level quick and efficient.
When you choose Email Students for a day, you first pick which addresses to include before the composer opens:
Primary Contact Email - the primary contact email address saved on each account.
Secondary Contact Email - the secondary contact email address saved on each account.
Student Email - each student's own email address.
Each option is only available if at least one scheduled lesson has that kind of address on file. Turning an option on adds those addresses to the recipient list; you can combine more than one type. If none of the selected day's lessons have any email address saved, you'll be prompted to add one before you can continue. Once you confirm, the email composer opens with the recipients already filled in so you can write and send your message.
Tip: You can drag and drop calendar events to different days to quickly reschedule without opening the editor.
