Deleting a student in Cadence Calendar should be considered carefully, as it is a permanent action that cannot be undone. All records tied to the student—including lessons, transactions, billing history, and notes—will be permanently removed.
All Lessons Removed: Every scheduled or past lesson associated with the student will be deleted.
Transactions & Billing History Deleted: Any invoices, payments, or charge records connected to the student will be lost.
Notes Removed: Any notes tied to the student will also be deleted.
Account Deletion: If the student is the last remaining student on an account, deleting them will also delete the account itself.
Important: Once deleted, the student and their data cannot be restored.
Navigate to the Students page.
Locate the student you want to delete in the students table.
Click the three-dot menu icon next to their name.
From the dropdown menu, select Delete Student.
In the confirmation dialog, type the student’s name to confirm deletion.
Complete the deletion process.
Instead of deleting, consider marking a student as Inactive if:
They are only temporarily not taking lessons (e.g., school break, seasonal schedule).
You want to retain their data for potential future use.
This way, you preserve their lesson and billing history without them showing up in your active scheduling and billing workflows.
Tip: Only delete a student if you’re sure you no longer need their records. For most cases, setting them to inactive is the safer choice.
